Great Northern Lofts
The fortress-like offices of railroad magnate James J. Hill are now 53 loft condominiums, thanks to a $27 million conversion that was largely completed at the end of 2003. Most of the residents have moved in within the past year. But six of the highest-end units, ranging from $575,000 to $775,000, remain on the market.
